Kirov to Conduct Cirque de la Symphonie in Final Performances of 2012–2013 Season

Music Director Ludovic Morlot announced the appointment of Stilian Kirov as the Seattle Symphony’s Douglas F. King Associate Conductor, beginning September 1, 2013. Kirov has served as Assistant Conductor during the Orchestra’s current season. As Associate Conductor, Kirov will conduct a wide range of Seattle Symphony concerts during the 2013–2014 season, including concerts on the Mainly Mozart series, Beyond the Score® series, Discover Music series, Community Concerts and more.Exciting performances with the Seattle Symphony in the 2013-14 Season!

THREE EMMY AWARDS!
GREATER MEMPHIS CHAMBER RECEIVES THREE MID-SOUTH EMMY AWARDS FOR THE SOUNDTRACK PROJECT

The Greater Memphis Chamber’s Communications & Programming Team, the Memphis Symphony Orchestra conducted by Stilian Kirov are the recipient of three Mid-South Emmy Awards in the Writing, Editing and Arts categories. They received the Emmy’s for The Soundtrack Project, a series of eight documentary shorts, produced by the Greater Memphis Chamber, which captures the entrepreneurial spirit in Memphis.
The Soundtrack Project began in 2010 as a partnership between the Chamber and the Memphis Symphony Orchestra to highlight both the strength of the Memphis arts community and breadth of the local small business community.
